Welcome to Halstead & District Photographic Society.
We're a small, friendly club that meets at 7.30pm on Thursdays every fortnight from September to April in the Methodist Church, New Street, Halstead. We have competitions for prints and digital images, talks from experienced photographers and practical workshops where we can get 'hands on' experience.
You don't have to be a good photographer to join. In fact, even if you're thinking about taking up photography then why not come along and watch? Our members' skills range between beginners and those with photographic distinctions; the people with more advanced knowledge are always happy to help and give practical advice.
We hope you will enjoy this site and maybe come and meet us. You don't have to join to visit - attend a couple of meetings as a guest if you wish and pay just £2.50 for the evening. The club prides itself on its friendly atmosphere and guarantees a warm welcome.
