Creativity packs a punch at panel competition

'Lines and Curves', 'Frozen Flowers', and 'Ice Scapes' take first, second and third in our latest Panel of Six competition judged by Tony Bramley FRPS on Thursday evening. Huge congratulations to Brian Fleming, who not only won first and third place but retained his winner's crown from 2020! Tony Bramley is well known for his Supremacist work amongst other genres so it was no surprise that a lot of creative and abstract panels were favourites on the night. Gill Beckett's beautiful and subtle 'Frozen Flowers' took second place, showing a slightly different but very creative style. Highly commended was another very pretty panel by Rosi Carpenter entitled 'Rosebuds'. Tony had some personal favourites outside of the placings - Eggs by Roger Cuthbert and Blue and White by Laraine Green. His favourite single image of the night out of all the individual images was Meerkats from Gill Beckett's Zoo Animals panel. Well done all. It was a great evening with an insightful critique where we all learned such a lot.
