On 15 April Round 3 of our Mono Print competition was judged by Jane Barrett. Three images received a perfect 10 and two of those belonged to Tori Andrews, with 'Farmyard Friends' a creative composite image of a chicken and dog taking the top spot, closely followed by Tori's 'Pegasus' a beautiful composite image of a winged horse, and 'The Journey's Over' by one of our newest members Dennis McDermott. Five images scored 9.5, one of my favourite's was 'Camelia' by Tori Andrews, 'Dovercourt Low Lighthouse' by Brian Fleming, 'The Sweeper' by Derek Collis, 'The Tragic End of Ophelia' by Rosi Carpenter, 'Arctic Terns' by Laraine Green, and 'Everyone has a camera phone' by Derek Collis. Hold backs scoring nine were 'There is light at the top of the stairs' by Dennis McDermott, 'The goatherder and his dog' by Laraine Green, 'Long Melford Water Meadows' by Steve Thomson, 'My splintered gallery' by Steve Thomson, and 'Three bottles and a glass' by Laraine Green.
Very well done to everyone, especially Tori and Dennis with three hold backs, and Steve Thomson, Laraine Green and Derek Collis with two hold backs.
