Membership Information
We offer a warm and friendly welcome to all new members and visitors.
Details of the various categories of membership available are shown below.
Category 1 Ordinary Member
Members have full access to all aspects of the Society’s activities including
-
Entering the Society’s Cumulative Competitions for Colour Prints, Mono Prints and Projected Digital Images (PDI).

Entering the Society’s “………..of the Year” competition for Colour Prints, Mono Prints and Projected Digital Images (PDI)
-
Entering the Society’s Panel of Six Competition.
-
Entering the Society’s ’Top Dog” PDI competition.
-
Attending lectures at the Society’s meetings.

Voting at the AGM
-
An opportunity to attend the Society’s summer outing (additional cost may be involved)

An opportunity to attend the annual dinner (separate cost involved)

Category 2 Country Members
This category is intended for people who wish to join our Society but owing to their distance from Halstead are unable to attend our meetings except on infrequent and rare occasions. As this will present some difficulty in entering our print competitions members in this category may only enter our PDI competitions.
In all other respects they enjoy the full benefits of Ordinary Membership.

Category 3 Social Members
A spouse or partner or other member of the family (of a current member) who wishes to attend our meetings on a regular basis.
For this category

There must be some relationship between the Social Member and a fully paid up “Ordinary” member of the Society

A Social member may NOT enter any competitions

A Social member may NOT vote at the AGM
-
A Social member may attend meetings without the “Ordinary” member in attendance.

VISITORS
We offer a warm welcome to visitors at our meetings.
There is no charge for visitors attending club competition nights. A £5 visitor fee is payable to attend workshops, speaker meetings or lectures unless otherwise advertised.
A visitor can attend a maximum of three meetings. After three meetings we expect that you will join as a full member.
OTHER
We make every effort to avoid additional charges however there may be occasions where a supplementary fee is payable and/or the Visitors' fee is increased. Details will be notified to Members and advertised on the HDPS website
