      Results of Top Dog feedback
      Discussion
Based on last nights feedback on my tie-breaker image I have cropped to a square as suggested and I believe it does look better, so thanks for the feedback, it was very useful. ORIGINAL CROPPED SQUARE WITH THE LEFT-HAND CRANES REMOVED

Just a few hints to help with upcoming in isolation round 11 competition, 'Splash'
      Discussion
Here are a few hints from Brian Fleming who will be the judge of this competition. For this competition we would like you to create a splash, literally. Now this could mean dropping a pebble in a pond or bucket and capturing the “splash” moment or an ice cube into a cocktail, fruit into a drink, a dripping tap splashing on a patio, or even something completely different. What about those lovely images we occasionally see of water drops bouncing up in a tray of liquid? Now, you do not need fancy equipment or triggers to do these but there is nothing to stop you using these if you have. You will need however besides your camera that is, a tripod and flash gun, again nothing big and fancy just a small flash preferably one you can trigger off camera, there are plenty of videos on YouTube giving instructions on how to do this and we have listed a few here to help you. The thing you will need most of is time and patience, time we all have at present, so practice on your patience. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwExpFDUC9Y https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GxRwBxc8-8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUI_OiNPC6Y https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2GY1u5b7pM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlhn86_UE8A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7BpqczoJ7U https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtF0UZrKeJA These are just a few of the many available on YouTube, if you Google “Water splash photography” you will see scores. Have fun, stay dry and sane.
